Tragic Collision in Delhi: Speeding Car Claims Life of E-rickshaw Driver
A deadly accident in northwest Delhi's Model Town resulted in the death of an e-rickshaw driver and injured five others after a car rammed into the rickshaw. The car driver, a radiologist, was taken into custody as the victim's family demands legal action.

A fatal accident in northwest Delhi's Model Town area resulted in the death of a 33-year-old e-rickshaw driver, Nagender Chaurasia, and injuries to five others when a speeding car collided with the rickshaw. The tragic incident unfolded near a hospital on Ring Road.
Police responded shortly after a PCR call at around 6 PM on Friday. Preliminary investigations revealed the force of the crash caused the e-rickshaw to overturn, severely injuring its driver and passengers, including women and children, who were promptly admitted to Vinayak Hospital.
The car's driver, Dr. Sidharth, a senior resident at GB Pant Hospital, was taken into custody. Meanwhile, the bereaved family of the deceased, originally from Patna, Bihar, is demanding stringent legal proceedings against the driver for alleged negligence.
