In a significant development, police in Bijnor arrested two individuals allegedly involved in anti-national activities linked to offensive social media content and unlawful use of arms. The arrests come after a November 2025 video surfaced, showcasing Aaqib alongside others displaying firearms during an Instagram live session.

Authorities have detained several individuals, including Uvaid Malik and Sameer alias Ruhan. On Friday, Zulfikar alias Raka and Arif Malik were apprehended near a bus stand in Kiratpur. Investigations reveal their association with online provocative acts and connections with Aaqib, the alleged mastermind behind incendiary social media content.

The arrests are tied to a case registered at Nangal police station under sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, Arms Act, and IT Act. This follows a recent ATS operation in Noida targeting ISI-linked operatives. Police continue to pursue other suspects, including Aaqib and Azad, currently overseas.
