BRS social media coordinator Manne Krishank was among eight individuals arrested for allegedly assaulting a Congress official, police announced Friday.
The incident stemmed from a social media post leading to tensions between party members. G Rajendra Kumar, the Congress social media coordinator, lodged a complaint saying the assault involved trespassing, threats, and damage to property.
A case was filed, resulting in arrests and the group's appearance in court where they were remanded until May 7.
