Turkey's parliament has passed a groundbreaking legislation banning social media usage for individuals under the age of 15, aiming to enhance digital safety for minors.
The newly introduced law, which amends the Social Services Law and several other regulations, requires digital platforms, notably game software firms, to implement age verification measures to protect young users.
Furthermore, these platforms must classify games according to players' ages and appoint a local representative if they have a significant user base in Turkey.
