Gurugram authorities have detained two individuals, one being a director of CKC Infra Company, implicated in a large-scale fraud involving sham real estate projects tied to Aparna Ashram, Silokhera village. This sweeping scam has left investors counting losses after being duped with fictitious investment opportunities.
The Economic Offences Wing-2 apprehended Ashok Chaudhary, 60, residing in Delhi, and Chandrakant Chaudhary, 40, from Ghaziabad, for their alleged participation in this scheme. The victims, assured of lucrative returns, were deceived into investing substantial amounts despite the land's ongoing legal controversies.
The investigations reveal fabricated agreements with no genuine project development commenced or any selling rights granted, leaving investors defrauded. Police continue probing how these operations were masked with misleading claims about potential earnings.
