An industrialist from Himachal Pradesh marked an impressive gesture of generosity towards the sacred shrines of India.
On Friday, Mahinder Sharma, chairman of ANS Constructions Private Ltd, donated Rs 1.01 crore to the Badrinath-Kedarnath Temple Committee. This donation was made soon after the temples reopened to devotees.
Notably, Sharma is not only a key figure in his professional field but also a devoted member of the temple committee for a decade. His donation is the largest thus far this season, coinciding with the temples' recent reopening—Badrinath on April 23 and Kedarnath a day prior.
