Pet Promise Lures: Indore's Child Kidnapping Foiled
Four youths, including two women, were arrested in Indore for allegedly kidnapping two boys for ransom. Lured by promises of pets, the boys were taken from a garden and held 15 km away. Police swiftly rescued them, apprehending the suspects lacking prior criminal records.

In a chilling incident in Indore, four individuals, including two women, were apprehended on Friday for allegedly kidnapping two young boys and demanding a hefty ransom of Rs 15 lakh. The accused, identified as Vineet Prajapati, Radhika Prajapati, Lalit Sen, and Tanisha Sen, were caught after luring the boys from a local garden with the false promise of giving them pets.
The 11-year-old victims, Naitik Sonkar and Samrat Jaydev, were found 15 kilometers away from their locality in a high-rise apartment in Rajendra Nagar. Deputy Commissioner of Police Rajesh Vyas informed PTI of the quick action taken by law enforcement, including analyzing CCTV footage and canvassing local residents, which led to the children's safe return.
None of the accused have any prior criminal history, revealing it was a first-time attempt at extortion for financial gain. The swift response of a 25-member police team prevented any harm coming to the children, underscoring the effectiveness of vigilant policing.
