Double Arrest: Murder Plot and Illegal Arms Unveiled

In an unfolding criminal case, police have apprehended two men linked to a murder investigation and illegal firearm possession. On Thursday, Deputy Commissioner of Police (North-West) Akanksha Yadav announced the detentions.

Ritik Kumar, hailing from Wazirpur Industrial Area, was the first to be arrested after police acted on a tip-off regarding his possession of an illegal firearm. The raid, conducted by a police unit from Ashok Vihar station, resulted in Kumar's capture and the recovery of a country-made pistol loaded with a live cartridge.

Further probing revealed Kumar's involvement in a murder case registered at Adarsh Nagar, leading to the arrest of a co-accused, Kunal from Bhalaswa Village. The police continue their investigation to uncover more details in the case.
