Delhi Domestic Help Sent to Custody in High-Profile Murder Case
A 19-year-old domestic help, Rahul Meena, has been remanded to four days of police custody by a Delhi court. Meena is accused of raping and murdering the daughter of a senior Indian Revenue Service officer. This follows another crime by Meena and associates in Alwar, Rajasthan.

Rahul Meena, 19, was placed in four-day police custody by a Delhi court on Thursday. The custody order was issued by Chief Judicial Magistrate Deepika Thakaran, following a request from the Delhi Police. Meena faces allegations of raping and murdering the daughter of an IRS officer at her Kailash Hills home.
The victim, a 22-year-old IIT graduate, was allegedly attacked by Meena, who previously worked as a domestic help in the household. The incident occurred on Wednesday morning, shocking the upscale Delhi neighborhood where the crime took place.
Prior to this, Meena and his associates allegedly committed another sexual assault in Rajasthan's Alwar, raising concerns about his criminal activities and prompting urgency in his interrogation.
