In a high-stakes operation, Chandigarh Police successfully apprehended a notorious gangster following a shootout on Wednesday. The incident unfolded near Sector 25, with police sustaining retaliatory measures against Mukesh, alias Golu Gohana.
The gangster, notorious for a slew of criminal activities across Haryana's Sonipat district, was injured in the leg and promptly admitted to Government Multi-Specialty Hospital in Sector-16.
The arrest came after a tip-off led police to intercept Golu near Rally Ground, culminating in a brief exchange of fire, ultimately leading to his arrest.
