Unity in Valor: Remembering the Pahalgam Attack

On the first anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Congress president Mallikarjun Kharge underlined the unyielding spirit of India, united against terrorism. Kharge expressed his deep condolences to the victims' families and saluted the armed forces for their bravery during Operation Sindoor.

Kharge paid tribute to the 26 citizens who lost their lives in the attack, reiterating that the nation's memory will preserve their sacrifice. He extended thoughts and prayers to bereaved families and highlighted the importance of remembering the citizens who perished due to cross-border shelling.

The Pahalgam attack, carried out by the Pakistan-based terrorist group Lashkar-e-Taiba, specifically targeted innocent tourists. In response, India launched Operation Sindoor, which successfully dismantled terrorist infrastructure across Pakistan and Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.
