On the anniversary of the Pahalgam terror attack, Prime Minister Narendra Modi emphasized India's steadfast opposition to terrorism. Targeted by the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-Taiba, the attack in Jammu and Kashmir claimed 26 lives, mostly tourists.
Commemorating the victims, Modi expressed solidarity with their families and reiterated India's refusal to yield to terror. 'Our nation stands united in memory and resolve,' he declared.
The attack prompted India's military response, Operation Sindoor, which aimed to dismantle terror bases in Pakistan and Pakistan Occupied Kashmir, underscoring the country's commitment to counter-terrorism efforts.
