In a perplexing case of familial betrayal, Anita Dinesh Swami stands accused of murdering her seven-year-old nephew in a calculated attempt to frame her husband's alleged lover, a local priest among the implicated.
Police initially considered a land dispute as the primary motive, but unsettling revelations about Anita's strained marriage emerged during the investigation. Inspector Balaji Bhande reported that Anita and co-accused, Sanjay Kashinath Swami, were remanded into custody until April 24.
The case took a chilling turn when Mangesh Chandrakant Swami reported his son Devansh missing, only to find him dead hours later. Anita's inconsistent statements and subsequent confession revealed a harrowing plot driven by jealousy and anger.
