Iran might engage in talks with the United States in Pakistan, provided Washington halts its pressure-driven policies, a senior Iranian official revealed to Reuters on Tuesday.

The official highlighted that Pakistan is actively mediating, urging the U.S. to end the naval blockade and release the Iranian-flagged container ship Touska and its crew, seized by American forces recently.

Accusing the U.S. of complicating resolutions, the Iranian official criticized Washington for exacerbating tensions rather than resolving differences to conclude the ongoing conflict.
