In a deeply disturbing case from north Delhi's Burari area, a 36-year-old man has been arrested by the Delhi Police for allegedly committing multiple rapes on his 67-year-old mother while under the influence of alcohol.
The victim, who works as a domestic helper to support her family, alleged in her statement to the police that her son, heavily intoxicated at the time, tied her up before committing the heinous act.
She managed to free herself early in the morning and reached out to her daughter, who alerted the police. The accused was arrested at his home, with a case registered and investigations underway.
