Authorities in Delhi have detained two men allegedly linked to the notorious Neeraj Bawana gang. The duo, identified as Pardeep Singh, 31, and Ashish, 32, were caught in the Dwarka area with a foreign-made pistol and ammunition.
The operation unfolded after police received intelligence about suspicious activity. Officers acted swiftly, setting a trap in Kiran Garden, which led to the interception of the suspects' vehicle on April 15. A subsequent search revealed incriminating evidence, including firearms images linked to the criminal network on their mobile phones.
Police sources suggest the arrests might have thwarted a planned crime, with motives potentially rooted in personal revenge. Preliminary investigations indicate the involvement of relatives in facilitating connections with the gang, as Pardeep sought to avenge the murder of his cousin by a rival faction.
