Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath strongly criticized the Congress and the Samajwadi Party (SP) on Tuesday for their opposition to the Constitution amendment bill, which sought to introduce a women's quota, claiming these parties have an 'anti-women' stance.

Addressing BJP party workers, Adityanath highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi's policies centering on women, youth, the poor, and farmers, as he lamented the failure of the bill to pass in the Lok Sabha. He emphasized numerous schemes initiated by the government to promote women’s self-reliance and dignity.

Adityanath encouraged continued protests against the bill's defeat and criticized the Congress, SP, and their allies for opposing the BJP-led initiatives focused on 'Nari Shakti' and national progress. He commended the ongoing efforts under the leadership of Modi as essential to reaching economic new heights.
