A 50-year-old man was detained by the Border Security Force (BSF) near the International Border under suspicious circumstances, officials reported on Tuesday.
The man, spotted by a BSF patrol in the Makwal forward belt of sub-sector Phallian Mandal, was unable to provide a satisfactory explanation for his presence in this sensitive area.
While preliminary questioning hints at possible mental challenges, security agencies are thoroughly investigating to determine his identity and intentions. No incriminating materials were found, and police have taken over the investigation.
