A woman and her accomplice have been sentenced to life imprisonment by the Kullu District and Sessions Court for the 2018 murder of her husband. This announcement was made on Monday by local police authorities.
The ruling, delivered by Judge Prakash Chand Rana, also included a fine of Rs 10,000 for each convict. In the event of non-payment, an additional year of simple imprisonment will be imposed.
The murder case involved Priyanka of Chhattisgarh and Kishore Tappa of West Bengal, who killed Surendra Tigga by throwing him into a well. The court ruled based on testimonies from 18 witnesses, crucial to securing the convictions.
