In a significant development, a court in Delhi has exonerated ten individuals accused in the 2020 riots case, spotlighting a lack of evidence presented by the prosecution.
The charges, including rioting, arson, and criminal conspiracy, could not be substantiated, according to Additional Sessions Judge Parveen Singh.
Despite identifying the alleged individuals through a video clip, the judge stated that linking those seen in the footage to the accused in court proved unfeasible, leading to the acquittal.
