In a fervent call for change, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu pledged the NDA's commitment to ensuring reservations for women in legislative bodies. Speaking at a public meeting in Nidadavolu, he emphasized the coalition's goal to amplify women's representation in governance.
Naidu accused the opposition, particularly the Indian National Congress, of obstructing bills favoring women's reservations. Despite repeated efforts by the NDA since former PM H D Deve Gowda's tenure, the Congress is depicted as betraying women's interests since 1996.
Additionally, Naidu detailed significant strides in waste management under the 'Swach Andhra-Swarna Andhra' project, aiming for comprehensive waste conversion and increased green cover by decades' end, establishing Amaravati as the state's capital.
