Vandalism Arrests Linked to Banned Outfit Conspiracy

Authorities have apprehended three suspects in connection with the vandalism of a statue of Dr. B R Ambedkar in Nurpur Jattan village, Punjab. Sources indicate possible affiliations with the proscribed Sikhs for Justice (SFJ) organization.

The incident occurred between March 30 and 31, prompting law enforcement to launch a swift investigation. Senior Superintendent of Police Sandeep Kumar Malik confirmed that the arrests were made using both technical data and intelligence resources. The primary suspect, Gurkirat Singh, was identified and, through initial questioning, led police to two additional suspects – Babandeep Singh and Sahilpreet Singh.

Preliminary findings suggest the crime was financially motivated, directed by overseas influencers. Investigative leads point to potential links with SFJ's leader, Gurpatwant Singh Pannun. Evidence gathered includes a metal rod and mobile devices. The investigation continues to explore the international dimensions of the plot.
