The Rajasthan Public Service Commission (RPSC) has garnered attention by announcing the results of the 2024 Rajasthan State and Subordinate Services Exam just a day after completing interviews—a swift turnaround for such examinations. This year's exam has not only been one of the fastest recruitment cycles in recent years but also a testament to the hard work of its candidates.

Dinesh Bishnoi from Barmer emerged as the top performer with a score of 351.50 marks, just ahead of Virendra Charan from Jaisalmer, who scored 351. Bishnoi, who excelled in the written exam with 302.50 marks but was overtaken by Charan in the interview, credited his achievement to perseverance, regular study, and familial and mentor guidance. Charan's story further echoes this dedication, as he secured the second rank by outperforming Bishnoi in the interview.

The examination drew broad representation from across Rajasthan, with the top 20 candidates including four women and seven individuals from the Western districts. Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma praised the candidates for their dedication, stating that they are set to contribute significantly to an 'Advanced Rajasthan.' The comprehensive process, from notification to results, spanned just over a year and included various posts across state and allied services.
