Supreme Court Adjusts RPSC Recruitment Exam Directive
The Supreme Court adjusted its previous order, allowing only Suraj Mal Meena to sit for Rajasthan's recruitment exam, not 713 candidates. The RPSC alleged omitted facts, prompting the court's decision. The adjustment restricts relief to Meena, with other candidates needing high court approval based on pending verdicts.

The Supreme Court on Friday altered its April 2 command, directing the Rajasthan Public Service Commission to allow just one candidate, instead of 713, for the upcoming sub-inspector and platoon commander recruitment exam scheduled for April 5-6.
This change came as a relief to the RPSC after a bench comprising Justices Dipankar Datta and Satish Chandra Sharma, meeting on a holiday, revisited their earlier order.
The initial directive to issue provisional admit cards to 713 candidates was revised following RPSC's revelation of omitted material facts. The court specified that only Suraj Mal Meena would receive permission to appear, suggesting other candidates seek resolution from the high court.
