A suspected World War II-era bomb was discovered on the Swarnarekha river bed in Jharkhand's East Singhbhum district, police reported on Thursday.
The discovery was made by villagers in the Panipada area, located just meters from where two similar bombs were found and diffused in March by the Indian Army.
Currently, authorities have secured the site and are in communication with army personnel to conduct an inspection and take necessary actions for public safety.
