The Madhya Pradesh High Court has ordered a criminal contempt case against BJP MLA Sanjay Pathak. This development stems from allegations that Pathak tried to contact a judge regarding illegal mining activities.

Chief Justice Sanjeev Sachdeva and Justice Vinay Saraf dismissed Pathak's objections and registered a case based on allegations by petitioner Ashutosh Dixit, who accused Pathak of attempting to influence judicial proceedings.

Dixit's petition claims Pathak's associated companies engaged in illegal mining. With no action from authorities, he sought the High Court's intervention, leading to the current legal proceedings.
