A bomb threat email sent to the Punjab and Haryana High Court on Thursday led to heightened security measures, although no suspicious objects were found. Law enforcement and emergency services were promptly dispatched to the high court for an anti-sabotage check.

The threat emerged just a day after a minor blast occurred outside the Punjab BJP office in Sector 37, which was linked to a suspected crude explosive device. Fortunately, no casualties resulted from the incident.

This alarming trend of hoax threats has been widespread, with the Punjab Civil Secretariat, the Passport office in Chandigarh, and multiple schools across Amritsar, Jalandhar, and Patiala also receiving similar emails. Authorities have discovered no credible threats so far.
