A tragic event unfolded in Inderpur village, Ghosi area, as a son allegedly took the life of his father. The accused, Harikesh, reportedly attacked his father, Basau, with a stick while he slept.
Authorities were alerted about the incident, which occurred at 4 am on Thursday. Law enforcement swiftly arrived at the scene, and Basau's body was sent for a postmortem examination.
The police suspect Harikesh to be mentally unstable and have detained him as investigations are underway. A forensic team has collected crucial evidence to aid in the ongoing probe, confirmed Circle Officer Jitendra Singh.
