Delhi Police have successfully apprehended Raju Mukhiya, the alleged leader of the infamous Mukhiya gang involved in elaborate house burglaries across various states, a spokesperson confirmed on Wednesday.

The operation culminated in Mukhiya's arrest in Dwarka's Nangli area. Mukhiya, 38, a native of Madhubani in Bihar, had been a proclaimed offender in criminal cases in Delhi and Haryana, noted for evading court processes while securing bail. His gang was adept at placing members as domestic helps to gather intelligence for burglaries in affluent homes.

Police efforts, assisted by a tip-off, led to Mukhiya's capture, unveiling an extensive network of domestic workers used for his crimes.
