Daylight Robbery Shocks East Delhi: Armed Assailants Caught on CCTV

In an unsettling incident in east Delhi's Krishna Nagar, a woman named Kanika Mehta became the target of a daylight robbery on Tuesday morning. As she was leaving after dropping her daughter at a school bus stop, four motorcycle-borne men allegedly attacked her, snatching her gold bangle.

The attack, caught on CCTV, shows the men, who were wearing helmets, first approaching Mehta as she prepared to leave on her scooter. The footage further reveals one of the perpetrators brandishing a firearm to intimidate Mehta, subsequently snatching her jewelry. In the ensuing struggle, Mehta sustained minor injuries.

According to a senior police officer, the motorcycles used in the crime were stolen. Efforts are currently underway to track down the culprits using CCTV footage. The incident has shocked the local community as it was widely circulated on social media, raising concerns over security in the area.
