Tensions Escalate in Lebanon: Disarming Hezbollah Key to Peace

The country braces for even higher displacement figures compared to the 2024 conflict. Meanwhile, international assistance, including EU emergency supplies, aims to address urgent humanitarian needs.

Israeli troops have advanced into additional areas in southeastern Lebanon. Despite Lebanese President Joseph Aoun's openness to negotiations, Israel insists on Hezbollah's disarmament as a prerequisite for peace.
