Tragic Accident Claims Lives of Two Army Personnel on Duty

A tragic incident occurred in Arunachal Pradesh's Upper Subansiri district when a military vehicle plunged into a ditch near Reddi village, close to the India-China border. The mishap resulted in the deaths of Naib Subedar Kulwant Singh and Naik Pradeep Kumar Sharma, both dedicated members of the Indian Army.
The accident, reported to have taken place on March 7, involved a vehicle traveling from Gelemo to Taksing as part of Operation Snow Leopard. The soldiers were serving under 56 Artillery Brigade and 18 Sikh Regiment, respectively. Their sacrifice highlights the dangers faced by those guarding the nation's borders.
Driver Amarjeet Gujjar, who was also onboard, sustained minor injuries but is reportedly out of danger and recovering at Field Hospital Borarupak. This tragic event underscores the risks inherent in military operations, particularly in challenging terrains.
