An 80-year-old man named Ram Anuj Mishra died after a speeding Bolero hit his motorcycle in Gosaiganj. While returning home from an event, the Bolero hit Mishra's vehicle as he was turning. Critically injured, Mishra was taken to the hospital but succumbed to his injuries en route.

An 80-year-old man was killed in a tragic road accident when a speeding SUV collided with his motorcycle in the Gosaiganj area, police reported on Tuesday.

The incident occurred near Garhwara on Monday night. Circle Officer R K Chaturvedi identified the deceased as Ram Anuj Mishra, a Garhwara resident, who was returning home after attending an event. A Bolero, traveling from Katka to Akbarpur, struck Mishra's motorcycle from behind as he was turning towards his home.

Mishra sustained critical injuries and was rushed to the hospital; however, he died on the way. Authorities have seized the SUV involved in the accident, and Mishra's body has been sent for a post-mortem examination.
