Tragic Road Accident Claims Life of Jaipur Businessman
Vallabh Maheshwari, a prominent Jaipur businessman and managing director of Shakun Group, died in a car accident on an expressway in Rajasthan. In a tragic incident, Vallabh Maheshwari, the 62-year-old managing director of Shakun Group, died after his BMW overturned on an expressway in Rajasthan's Alwar district on Sunday night. The accident occurred as the car was traveling from Jaipur to Mathura and reportedly lost control, crashing into the median and ultimately hitting a culvert wall.
Local police informed that the mishap happened under Raini police station limits when the vehicle broke through roadside barricades. While Maheshwari sustained critical injuries leading to his death, his driver escaped with minor injuries. Both were initially taken to a nearby medical facility where Maheshwari was stabilized before being referred to a hospital in Alwar, where he was declared dead.
The untimely demise of Maheshwari has drawn significant reactions from political figures, including former Rajasthan chief minister Ashok Gehlot and Leader of Opposition Tilaram Jully, who took to social media platform X to express their grief, highlighting the industrialist's profound impact on the community.
