Bellingcat Challenges US Claims on Iran School Strike
Bellingcat, an investigative group, released a video appearing to counter US claims that Iran caused an explosion killing 165 at a school in Minab, Hormozgan Province. Evidence suggests US involvement, using a Tomahawk missile, was more likely. The US and Israeli militaries have yet to comment on these findings.

The investigative group Bellingcat has released a video that seemingly challenges US President Donald Trump’s assertion that Iran was responsible for an explosion at an Iranian school. The explosion, which took place at the start of the ongoing war in the Mideast, claimed the lives of over 165 individuals.
Mounting evidence now suggests US involvement in the February 28 strike, which targeted a school adjacent to a Revolutionary Guard base in Minab, Iran. Experts cite satellite images and analysis, noting that a succession of bombs likely caused the devastation, with a Tomahawk cruise missile identified from the video being only possessed by the US in this conflict.
Despite President Trump's denial of US responsibility, Defence Secretary Pete Hegseth stated that the US is investigating. Complicating assessments are the lack of bomb fragment images and an inability for independent agencies to access the site, located near a vital naval unit and Revolutionary Guard base, which could point towards a US military objective.
