A 70-year-old Bengaluru resident lost his life after a fire engulfed his vehicle, leaving behind a tragic scene, according to police reports on Monday. The incident, involving Uday Kumar from Raghuvanahalli, unfolded near Achepalli Cross in the Bagepalli taluk of Chikkaballapur district.
Kumar was en route from visiting his mother when passersby noticed his car ablaze. Despite the rapid response from fire tenders, the flames spread too quickly, resulting in Kumar's tragic demise.
Law enforcement officials suspect suicide after their initial probe showed no signs of accident or mechanical failure. However, further analysis is ongoing to determine any potential technical issues that might have led to the fire.
