Jammu and Kashmir is witnessing a transformative era with significant governance changes over the past few years, making the system more transparent and public-centric, according to Lt Governor Manoj Sinha. In his address, Sinha emphasized the pivotal role of the newly inaugurated Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) headquarters in representing this shift.
The governor urged the ACB to ensure all investigations withstand legal scrutiny, drawing upon constitutional authority to fight corruption. Sinha noted that under PM Modi's leadership, a faceless system is in place to reduce corruption, ensuring services reach citizens promptly.
Sinha detailed fast progress across sectors like infrastructure and agriculture, driven by accountable governance. He stressed corruption is not just financial loss but an assault on citizens' lives, emphasizing a united effort for a corruption-free future in J&K.
