Tragic Collision: Highway Mishap Claims Three Lives

A tragic road accident on the Raebareli-Sultanpur national highway resulted in three fatalities and left four individuals critically injured. The incident occurred near Nigohan village after two motorcycles collided with a parked truck while maneuvering to avoid an oncoming speeding vehicle, as reported by police on Tuesday.
The victims, all relatives, were returning to Raebareli after attending an evening function at a school in Jais. The crash occurred when both motorcycles attempted to avoid a fast-approaching vehicle from the opposite direction, leading to the collision with the stationary truck, identified as vehicle number UP36 T1485.
Sadly, Disha (6), her father Atul (38), and Hiralal (45) suffered fatal injuries and were pronounced dead upon arrival at the Fursatganj community health centre. The other injured, Rani (30), Shivani (18), and Pallavi (16), were transferred in critical condition to the district hospital in Raebareli, while Mahi (12) remains under treatment at the community health center. Authorities have seized the truck and sent the deceased bodies for post-mortem, as confirmed by Tiloi Circle Officer Dinesh Kumar Mishra.
