Tragic Highway Accident Claims Farmer's Life in Himachal Pradesh
A 42-year-old farmer, Karam Chand, tragically lost his life after being hit by a speeding car on the Shimla-Mataur National Highway. The incident occurred near Seu town in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district. Police are investigating the cause of the accident, and a case has been registered against the driver.

A tragic accident took place on Tuesday morning when a 42-year-old farmer was fatally struck by a speeding car on the Shimla-Mataur National Highway. The victim, Karam Chand, was returning from his farm in Himachal Pradesh's Bilaspur district when the incident occurred near Seu town.
According to the police, Chand was crossing the highway with his cattle when a car, driving from Dadhol, hit him. Severely injured, Chand was rushed to Ghumarwin Hospital by the car driver, who later transferred him to AIIMS Bilaspur. Unfortunately, Chand succumbed to his injuries during treatment.
DSP Vishal Verma confirmed that the police have conducted a post-mortem and handed the body over to the family. They have also registered a case against the driver under relevant sections and launched an investigation to ascertain the exact cause of the accident.
