Heist in Chandni Chowk: Employee Flees with Rs 54 Lakh
Three men, including an employee of a jewellery trader, were arrested for allegedly fleeing with Rs 54 lakh in north Delhi's Chandni Chowk. The police recovered part of the stolen money. The accused are Rupesh Kumar, Sachin alias Vikas, and Pawan Kumar, all residents of Sonia Vihar, Delhi.

In a recent operation, the Delhi Police arrested three men, including an employee of a jewellery trader, for allegedly absconding with Rs 54 lakh. The incident occurred in north Delhi's Chandni Chowk, where Rupesh Kumar, along with his accomplices Sachin and Pawan Kumar, planned the heist.
The police report indicated that the case was filed on February 6 after a bullion trader accused his employee, Rupesh, of fleeing with the money that was meant for a transaction in the market. On February 5, Rupesh was entrusted with the responsibility of purchasing silver but chose to vanish instead.
Law enforcement laid a trap on March 5 and apprehended Rupesh and Sachin near Khazoori Khas Flyover. Their associate, Pawan, was later caught in Sonia Vihar. During the operation, police recovered Rs 27 lakh from Rupesh, Rs 2.5 lakh from Sachin, and Rs 2 lakh along with deposit receipts and a car from Pawan.
