Tribute to a Dravidian Stalwart: K Anbazhagan’s Legacy

On Saturday, DMK President M K Stalin paid heartfelt tributes to the late K Anbazhagan, a towering figure in the party remembered for his decades-long service and unwavering principles.
Anbazhagan, who passed away in March 2020, served as a nine-time MLA and held the position of general secretary for 43 years. A close ally of DMK patriarch M Karunanidhi, his influence and leadership were monumental to the party's fabric.
In a moving statement, Stalin expressed his admiration, describing Anbazhagan as a steadfast source of comfort and inspiration. He also pledged to renew efforts to establish the Dravidian Model government in honor of Anbazhagan's enduring legacy and principled commitment.
