In a remarkable feat, Delhi Police's Assistant Commissioner of Police, Apurva Verma, has achieved the 42nd rank in the 2025 Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) Civil Services Examination, as announced on Friday. Despite the demands of her policing role, Verma managed to surmount the challenging UPSC exam, expressing gratitude towards her department and her civil servant husband for their unwavering support.

Meanwhile, Union Minister Jitendra Singh offered his hearty congratulations to all the toppers of the UPSC CSE 2025, particularly acknowledging the exceptional performance of Dr. Anuj Agnihotri, Rajeshwari Suve M, and Akansh Dhull, who achieved the top three ranks. In a post on X, Singh extended his well-wishes, foreseeing a bright future for these individuals as they serve the nation.

Topper Anuj Agnihotri, who reached the pinnacle with the first rank, described the examination journey as demanding yet rewarding. He embarked on this endeavor back in 2022 and finally succeeded with his third attempt, already serving as a DANICS officer as part of his career progression. Agnihotri maintained his sights on starting as a Sub-Divisional Magistrate, aspiring to advance further with sustained diligence.
