Tragic Discovery: Bodies of Missing Mother and Son Found in Rajasthan

The bodies of a young mother and her toddler were uncovered in Rajsamand district, Rajasthan, following their mysterious disappearance last week, according to state police. The victims, Priyanka and her son Aryan, were found after a confession by the accused, Govind Singh, who allegedly had an illicit affair with Priyanka.

Authorities launched an investigation after Priyanka and her son reportedly vanished on February 11. Evidence pointed to her frequent contact with Singh, ultimately leading to his detention on Wednesday. During interrogation, Singh admitted to murdering the pair and disclosed the locations of the bodies.

A search operation consequently led to the grim finds — Priyanka’s body in a pond and Aryan’s about 20 kilometers away in a forested area. Police have filed a murder case, and inquiries are ongoing to establish the motive behind these heinous acts.
