This move marks a historic moment as India leads over 70 navies with its flagship platforms, aligning with the Aatmanirbhar Bharat vision.
Maritime Convergence 2026, held from February 15 to 25, will feature the Indian Navy's formidable assets like the INS Vikrant. This event integrates the International Fleet Review, Exercise MILAN, and IONS Conclave, showcasing India's prowess as a self-reliant defense manufacturer and its status as a 'Global Security Partner' in the Indo-Pacific.
The centerpiece, the International Fleet Review on February 18, is set to feature over 50 Indian vessels, highlighting India's indigenization efforts in military hardware. By showcasing these platforms alongside advanced navies, India underscores its commitment to a free and open Indo-Pacific, supported by domestic innovation and Indian MSMEs.
