Tragic End for Sub-Inspector in Fatal Uttar Pradesh Police SUV Crash
A sub-inspector lost his life and four police personnel, including a female officer, were injured when their police SUV crashed into a tree in Maharajganj, Uttar Pradesh. The accident is attributed to the driver falling asleep at the wheel. Local residents helped rescue the injured.

A police sub-inspector was killed and four others injured when a police SUV collided with a tree in Maharajganj district, Uttar Pradesh, officials announced.
The incident occurred early Tuesday morning near Katarari, under Shyamdeurwa police station. The vehicle was returning from a raid in Maharajganj when the driver reportedly fell asleep, leading to the crash.
Locals immediately aided the victims, who were transferred to a local health center and subsequently to BRD Medical College as per officials. Sub-inspector Santosh Kumar died from his injuries, while two other officers remain critically injured.
