BJP MLA Balmukundacharya questioned the government on illegal bovine transportation and slaughter during Question Hour, seeking 'Gaumata' status for cows. The state's Minister for Animal Husbandry, Joraram Kumawat, responded that the government is studying other states' regulations.
Opposition Leader Tika Ram Jully accused the ruling party of misconduct related to a cow slaughtering incident. As tensions escalated, Speaker Vasudev Devnani twice adjourned the House proceedings to restore order amidst continuous disruptions and placard protests.
