Delhi Police Celebrates 79th Raising Day with Grand Parade

The Delhi Police marked a significant milestone on Monday as it celebrated its 79th Raising Day. Union Home Minister Amit Shah graced the occasion as the chief guest, overseeing a ceremonial parade that was a vivid display of discipline and coordination.
The event showcased the prowess of the Delhi Police, with participation from the best marching contingent, SWAT team, dog squad, band team, motorcycle riders, and PCR units. Each formation demonstrated precision and teamwork during the parade.
Addressing the audience, Delhi Police Commissioner Satish Golchha reiterated the force's commitment to tackling key issues in the national capital. He highlighted objectives such as creating a 'drug-free India', countering cyberterrorism, and dismantling organized crime networks. Additionally, he noted that nine gangsters had been apprehended, with close monitoring of 32 abroad who are in collaboration with central agencies. Senior officers and personnel were in attendance, reflecting solidarity and purpose.
