Puducherry Chief Minister N Rangasamy met Union Home Minister Amit Shah in Karaikal on Saturday, coinciding with Shah's address at a BJP rally. As leader of the AINRC-BJP coalition, Rangasamy discussed several regional issues with Shah.
Shah commended the performance of the Puducherry government under Rangasamy during his rally speech, urging voters in the union territory to maintain their support for the National Democratic Alliance (NDA).
The meeting was attended by notable figures, including ministers K Lakshminarayanan, A Namassivayam, and state BJP president V P Ramalingam. Puducherry Lieutenant Governor K Kailashnathan formally received Amit Shah upon his arrival.
