Punjabi Diaspora's Role in Punjab's Revival

Punjab BJP working president Ashwani Sharma welcomed the Punjabi diaspora, acknowledging their significant role in elevating Punjab's global image, during the 'Punjabi Diaspora Meet'. He stressed NRIs' contribution to state pride and invited their support in addressing Punjab’s developmental challenges.

Highlighting concerns over drugs, law, and economic issues, Sharma called on NRIs to help rebuild Punjab's prosperity. Under Prime Minister Narendra Modi's leadership, he asserted, India's respect worldwide has grown, urging the diaspora’s engagement for unity, peace, and growth in Punjab.

Concluding the event, BJP national general secretary Tarun Chugh echoed the importance of NRIs to India's growth narrative. He advocated for their support in ensuring stable governance and economic revival in Punjab, promising safety for their investments and a conducive growth environment in line with BJP-led states.
