Shockwaves in Bolangir: Teen Arrests Spark Outcry

In a distressing development from Odisha's Bolangir district, six boys have been apprehended for allegedly gang-raping a 15-year-old girl. The horrific act was reportedly captured on video and later circulated via social media, further exacerbating the trauma.

The brutal episode unfolded on December 27 of the previous year, as the young victim was returning home from her coaching class in the Tureikela police station area. Despite threats from the accused to remain silent, the case unraveled when the victim's father lodged a formal complaint.

Authorities moved swiftly, registering a case and arresting all six suspects. Among them is a 17-year-old, identified as the crime's mastermind.
